We collect, summarize, and organize biology research content sourced from publicly available, open-access scientific databases including Europe PMC, PLOS Biology, Frontiers, PubMed, and ClinicalTrials.gov. Our platform uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, organize content, and present research findings in an accessible format.

Bio Research Wiki LLC is not a medical provider, healthcare organization, clinical research organization, or licensed professional advisory service of any kind. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or professional opinions of any kind. We are a technology company that operates a platform which organizes, presents, and facilitates discovery of existing publicly available research and third-party clinical trial listings.

Where clinical trial listings appear on the Site with a "Sponsored" designation, this indicates only that the organization responsible for that trial has paid a fee for enhanced placement visibility on the Site as an advertising and discovery service. Such payment does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, partnership, co-sponsorship, or operational involvement by Bio Research Wiki LLC in the design, conduct, oversight, or administration of the trial.

The content available on BioResearchWiki is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You may browse and read content for personal research and educational purposes, share links to individual pages, print or save individual pages for personal non-commercial use, and submit error reports, ratings, and feedback through the Site's designated submission tools. All other uses are prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by Bio Research Wiki LLC.

You agree not to access, collect, harvest, scrape, crawl, index, or otherwise extract data or content from the Site through the use of any automated means — including robots, bots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, data mining tools, or extraction scripts — whether or not you are logged in to a BioResearchWiki account, and regardless of whether the data being accessed is publicly visible.

You agree not to use Site content for commercial purposes without written consent; reproduce or redistribute content without authorization; use AI-generated summaries as training data for any machine learning model without written consent; or present content as your own original work.

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or defamatory information; submit content that violates third-party intellectual property rights; impersonate any person or entity; or submit spam or unlawful content.

The Site and all content generated or produced by Bio Research Wiki LLC — including AI-generated summaries, editorial organization, software, text, graphics, logos, databases, and data compilations — are owned by Bio Research Wiki LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All Usage Data collected through the Site is the property of Bio Research Wiki LLC. "BioResearchWiki" and associated marks are trademarks of Bio Research Wiki LLC.

By submitting error reports, ratings, corrections, or other content, you grant Bio Research Wiki LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and exploit your submissions for any purpose — including improving content, training AI models, generating aggregated datasets, and commercial data licensing. You will not receive compensation for submissions. You retain ownership of your submissions but warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

All Usage Data collected through the Site is owned by Bio Research Wiki LLC. We may sell, license, transfer, or otherwise commercialize aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified Usage Data and Submission-derived data to third parties including research institutions, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations, and other commercial partners. Any such transfer will be of aggregated or de-identified data that does not directly identify you. Personally identifiable information will not be sold without your explicit consent, except as required by law or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bio Research Wiki LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable legal and accounting fees — arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Site, any submission you provide, your violation of any applicable law, your misrepresentation regarding your legal capacity, your participation in any clinical trial listed on the Site, or any fraud or willful misconduct by you.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court and your right to participate in a class action.

Before filing any claim, you must email bioresearchwiki@gmail.com with subject line "Informal Resolution Request" and include a written description of the dispute, the specific relief sought, and your contact information. You and Bio Research Wiki LLC agree to attempt informal resolution for 90 days from receipt of a compliant notice. The 90-day period does not commence until a compliant notice is received.

You and Bio Research Wiki LLC agree that all disputes shall be resolved through final, binding arbitration on an individual basis, governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Arbitration fees for proceedings you initiate are your responsibility. If Bio Research Wiki LLC initiates arbitration, Bio Research Wiki LLC pays all associated fees.

Arbitration shall be administered by AAA or JAMS under applicable consumer arbitration rules in Hamilton County, Ohio. Claims under USD $10,000 may be conducted by telephone, video, or written submissions. The arbitrator may award individual relief only.

Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court or seek emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property, confidential information, or data security, pending arbitration.

All threshold issues of arbitrability shall be determined by the arbitrator, except that the enforceability of the Class Action Waiver in Section 11.4 shall be determined by a court.

You may opt out of mandatory arbitration within 30 days of first using the Site by emailing bioresearchwiki@gmail.com with subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out", your name, and the email address associated with your account or use of the Site. Your opt-out is not effective until Bio Research Wiki LLC has received a compliant notice. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 11. Disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the state courts of Hamilton County, Ohio or the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division (Cincinnati).

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified or severed without affecting the remaining Terms. If the Class Action Waiver in Section 11.4 is found invalid or unenforceable in its entirety, the entirety of Section 11 shall be void and disputes shall be resolved in court as provided in Section 12.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bio Research Wiki LLC. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. Bio Research Wiki LLC may assign these Terms freely; you may not assign without written consent. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, employment, or agency relationship. Bio Research Wiki LLC is not liable for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted prominently on the Site and communicated to registered users by email where applicable. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
